A training academy is offering free courses in construction starting in September.
Building Lives Training Academy is recruiting people in Sutton over the age of 16.
Twenty five participants who prove themselves during the initial training stages will be offered a paid apprenticeship with Sutton Housing Partnerships’ Decent Homes contractors.
The training is being delivered by community interest company Building Lives in partnership with Sutton Housing Partnership and Carshalton College.
Assessment days are on the August 14 – 16 at Carshalton College, call Sutton Housing Partnership on 020 8915 2000.
Building Lives is a social enterprise that provides construction training and supports people of all ages and backgrounds, male and female, to overcome barriers during their journey to work in construction.
