Jake Jones was jailed after he was caught on CCTV carrying stolen wedding dresses through Croydon town centre.
The 20-year-old of Balfour Road, South Norwood, was jailed for four years three months after pleading guilty to non-residential burglary, violent disorder, handling stolen goods and possession of a bladed article.
CCTV footage caught Jones rioting in Centrale shopping centre, targeting House of Fraser, Orange and attempting to burgle Jane Norman.
Other footage showed Jones carrying a number of stolen wedding dresses, which police later recovered.
Two weeks after the riots, Jones handed himself in at Croydon police station, where he was charged later that day.
