A new health centre, built at the former site of Croydon General Hospital, is due to be opened in April.
The building work on the £1.5 million centre began in February this year and plans are now being drawn up for a health village' at the London Road site.
The resource centre, which opens in April, will be the home of Croydon Voluntary Action. It will have offices and meeting rooms as well as training facilities, a creche and a community cafe.
