Cops get eco-friendly cars
Police officers can now get around the borough more quickly thanks to a brand-new eco-friendly car.
Officers from Cheam Safer Neighbourhoods Team now have a Ford Focus car from Cheam based Smith and Byford, building services engineers.
The car is being given to police for three years and will help local officers to respond to calls more quickly and to attend local schools and groups more easily.
