Boss Billy Smith insists revenge is not on the agenda when his Tooting & Mitcham side face Kingstonian on Saturday.
Smith endured a bitter departure from Kingsmeadow in the 1990s when he was sacked as manager, before going on to enjoy successful spells at Bromley and Carshalton Athletic.
His new club, the Terrors, have struggled to find the net in the league this season and languish in the lower regions of the Ryman League Division One South table.
The 63-year-old welcomes sixth-placed Ks to Imperial Fields at the weekend looking forward to renewing old acquaintances and upsetting the form book along the way.
"I have managed so many clubs I don't see games like this as going out for revenge or trying to put one over on my old team," he said this week.
"The people at Kingstonian have always been marvellous to me and always make me feel welcome whenever I have gone back with different clubs.
"I enjoy going back but it is another three points to our total if we get the win.
"It may be a good time to be playing them after they lost in the FA Trophy on Monday, but Ks are a useful team and I would expect them to be there or thereabouts come the end of the season."
Tooting pulled off a shock by gaining a battling 1-1 FA Trophy draw at Ryman League Premier Division side Boreham Wood on Saturday thanks to a second-half Paul Vines volley, earning them a replay at Imperial Fields on Tuesday night.
