A bus stop has been turned into a work of art to celebrate the London 2012 Games.
The top of the bus shelter by Chessington South station has been covered in a red and black LED screen that displays artwork by members of the public, professional artists and schoolchildren.
The installation is part of the Bus-Tops project, which aims to highlight messages from the London 2012 Games with projects across 20 London boroughs.
Images screened include a series of animations designed by students at Middlesex University.
The images are to the theme of the Truce, which was established in ancient Greece and signalled a time when athletes, artists and their families could travel in safety to the Olympic Games.
The Bus-Tops project collaborated with autistic artist Dean Rodney, who has brought together 72 band members from across the world to bring the digital screens to life.
He said: “I really like the Bus-Tops artworks. It is awesome absolutely awesome, it feels like a movie.”
Students from BeitYaacov School in Brazil will also have their works displayed to mark Rio’s hosting in 2016.
