On April 27, 2006 Spelthorne's councillors voted to close the Benwell and Sunbury elderly day centres.
With hundreds of other protestors, I attended that meeting.
My complaint is that the vote was based on false data. I made it at the meeting.
The remedy I claim is the reconvening of that meeting, declaration that the vote was not valid and another vote taken on accurate information.
Under the ombudsman's guidance I have advanced my complaint - five counts of maladministration - through stages one, two and three of the council's procedures.
But still the councillors refuse, in the ombudsman's words, to resolve it'.
The ombudsman gave them until August 31 to do so.
The stage three enquiry was on September 7 and I have not had any response to it.
Now they are given until the end of next month either to agree to my request, a new meeting or to face investigation as to why not.
It is plain to me that they do not reply because they cannot justify their decision.
Age Concern and Mind are supporting my claim - misery, depression and isolation are not to be inflicted on my generation.
Far from saving money' the social costs will be horrendous.
Four local residents groups are also engaged with an ombudsman action.
I warn the councillors. If they bulldoze the centres, ignoring the investigation, I shall go for judicial review, with a good chance of having them banned from public office and surcharged.
