Your article on the front page of last week's Staines Guardian dealing with the sky of sound' is absolutely spot on.
People in this area are suffering appallingly from the no alternation situation. Right from the beginning we scented trouble with the tiny time frame allowed for consultation (and at a time of year when most people were distracted with holidays).
Truly the airport authorities are the most two-faced people in Britain.
When it suits them they will spend any amount of time and PR effort to push new runways and terminals.
Interactive exhibitions, clapped out Labour MPs, everything under the sun is wheeled out when they have to gain our approval.
But in this instance they smuggled in the change of runway use pretty under cover of darkness.
Sooner or later the Government is going to have to face the fact Heathrow cannot grow.
