Not only does Sutton have David Weir but it has Parlympic torch bearers too.
Sutton cricket coach, Beth Evans, took part in the Paralympic Torch Relay on Wednesday, August 29, through Lambeth.
The 28-year-old Cricket for Change coach delivers sessions for girls aged eight to 18 at the Cricket Centre in Sutton.
Another torch bearer, Wayne Spiller, who owns Sassis Coffee shop in Carshalton carried the torch through Tring on the same day.
Mr Spiller was chosen to carry the torch because he provides work experience for children with special needs.
