A family was held at gunpoint for 15 minutes by robbers who forced their way into their East Molesey home.
A 50-year-old woman was with her son and daughter at their home in Feltham Avenue when she heard a knock at the door at 3.15pm on Sunday (October 22). When she opened the door, two men pushed their way inside and ushered the woman and her children into the kitchen.
One of the men produced what looked like a firearm and demanded jewellery, snatching rings from the family members' fingers before searching the house.
The offenders then escaped in what police believe was a blue Vauxhall car, parked in nearby Riverbank.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Carl Emery of Esher CID said: "We would urge anyone with any information, or who recognises the efit and descriptions of the offenders to contact police. Surrey is one of the safest places in the country and offences like this are extremely rare."
The first man is of Asian appearance, about 5ft 10ins, in his 20s, of slim build, with good skin, thin moustache, dark brown oval eyes with long dark eyelashes. He had a small, angular face with pointed features, a small straight nose, and thin lips.
He was wearing a cream-coloured hooded top pulled up to conceal his face, blue jeans and gloves and spoke with a London accent.
The second man was of Jamaican appearance, over 6ft tall, of heavy build with dark brown eyes and long eyelashes. He was wearing a dark coloured jacket and a hood pulled up over his head.
Anyone with information should phone DS Emery on 0845 125 2222.
