Barnes had the better of the first half taking the lead with a goal scored from a narrow angle.
The second half saw Croydon lift their game and net the equaliser.
Annalie Thomasson made supplied who Julie Worthington made no mistake.
Croydon battled hard to secure a well deserved draw which leaves them lie fifth in Surrey Division One.
