A depleted Croydon Harriers did well to finish fourth over their own course last Saturday in a league fixture.
Nick Gould led Harriers home in seventh spot in 31 minutes three seconds, well supported by U20 George Thatcher who took a solid 17th in 33:20.
Four of the clubs next five finishers were veterans.
Julian Dillow (M50) was 19th in 33;36 with Andy Del Nevo (M35) leading a solid trio home in the thirties in 30th in 34:37.
Dave Warren was seven seconds further back 31st with Junior manager Terry Lapins 33rd in 34:39.
Jane Searle was the first of the club's female contingent to finsih, coming 86th (11th women).
