Croydon kept their hopes of qualification from the round robin stage of the Kent Premier Division League Cup alive with a win over Greenwich on Saturday.
The Trams now have eight points from five matches and need to win at Whitstable next Saturday to be sure of further progression.
Matt Fowler gave the Trams the lead with a neat finish eight minutes before the break.
The visitors were then reduced to 10-men when Steve Wade was shown red for a stamp, as Croydon took control.
Chris Hill made it 2-0 when he headed in powerfully converting Tim Murdoch's corner and another Murdoch dead ball gave rise to Croydon's third.
He delivered the ball into the danger area and the predatory Neil John deflected Bronek Dabrowa's firm shot into the net to complete a comfortable win.
