Pyjamas and nighties will replace traditional school uniforms for one Battersea school when Red Nose Day comes around next month.
Children at St Mary's Primary School will be allowed to turn up in nightwear on March 15 after head teacher Jared Brading joined his Year Three pupils in wearing his pj's to school.
Mr Brading, who has urged other schools to follow his lead, said: "The entire school will be doing this on Red Nose Day (on March 15) and I encourage all schools to get involved with it."
"It is a simple but fun idea that links fun with story time."
The school was in the spotlight in January when the Duchess of Cornwall dropped in to see the school's successful volunteer reading initiative in action.
