Parents and members of the community enjoyed delightful harvest festival concerts at Hurst Park Primary School.

The concerts, performed on October 23 by 200 pupils aged between five and 11, consisted of singing, reading and poetry written by the children.

Some of the younger pupils at the West Molesey school also shared their illustrations of the fruit and vegetables harvested from the school’s allotments.

Deputy Head, Lee Beresford, deputy Headteacher, said: “The harvest festival is a really important event in our school calendar. It is a time where the whole community comes together in celebration.”

Pupils and their parents also put together harvest gift boxes filled with fresh produce, tinned food, treats and magazines, which will be handed out in the community.
