Sutton schools competed in track and field events as part of a national drive to get kids into sports.
Fifteen schools in Sutton took part in the National Schools Sports Week, a week of fun and activity in schools, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust, backed by government and supported by Lloyds TSB.
The programme’s Local Hero for Sutton and Croydon, Twinelle Hopeson, 17, attended the sports day to interact with the children, handed out prizes and had a question and answer session with the pupils.
