Pupils spent a week perfecting American accents before staging a production of Oklahoma! at Collingwood School in Wallington.
The revival of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical featured dancing cowboys and swishing skirts over three nights last week.
Headteacher Geoff Barham said: “The production was directed by Tamasine Kimber, head of drama, and involved all the children in year six and some supporting parts taken by children in years three, four and five.
“The children worked very hard learning all the songs and dances and even acquiring American accents for the week.”
