Notre Dame Preparatory School in Cobham is celebrating winning the National Catholic Schools Athletics Championship on Sunday, June 21.
The tournament, held at St George’s College in Weybridge, involved 11 other teams, competing in activities such as long jump, high jump, running and rounder ball throwing.
Notre Dame ended the day with 46 points and won an array of gold medals, including Nicole Reardon for the rounders ball throw, Jemma Sharman for the long jump and Tabatha Davey for the 1,500m race.
Florence Berry, Constanza Michell, Francesca Back and Gabriella Staples also all won gold for the 4 x 100m relay.
Kia Nielsen, head of PE at the school, said: “The girls’ achievement is a result of various factors - the team has worked very hard this term and each girl has shown determination and an excellent ability to perform under pressure.
“The team spirit was fantastic - the girls cheered each other on and believed in themselves and their talents.”
