Pupils from Bedelsford School had a surprise visit from mayor of Kingston Councillor Ian McDonald on July 8, as the civic leader dropped in to take a look around during the special school’s open morning.
Coun McDonald spent the morning chatting to the children about their studies and letting them try on his ceremonial hat.
The Kingston special school caters for pupils aged between two and 16, with a wide range of physical disabilities, including profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex health issues.
