David Weir, the double Paralympic wheelchair racing champion, has given achievers at Glenthorne High School further motivation.
The Wallington athlete delivered a speech as more than 300 pupils were recognised for effort and attainment during an annual awards.
A school spokesman said: “Our awards evening is an occasion when we make time to share in our pupils’ success and show our pride in their achievements, in the knowledge that praise and rewards are the catalysts to motivate them to greater success in the future.”
