Vibrant world cultures were celebrated at Chesterton Primary School in Dagnall Street last Friday with an international day.
The kids took part in activities from countries around the world, and their parents were invited in the afternoon to see the celebrations.
Each class at the school was given a country to represent and learn about during the event on July 10.
Children wore traditional dress and took part in activities like dance workshops, African drumming, art, cooking and May pole dancing.
The school's business manager, Doris Blonska, said: “The children had a fantastic selection of foods, it was an enriching and exciting day. They had a wonderful time.”
