A Tulse Hill schoolgirl has fought off competition from thousands to be named as one of the top young public speakers in the country.
Precious Oyelade, 15, from St Martin in the Fields school, came fourth in the grand final of Jack Petchey’s Speak Out Challenge on July 10, a competition that began with 18,000 entrants from schools nationwide.
