Children from Bishop Gilpin school with the Archbishop of Canterbury
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, blessed a mosaic cross made by pupils at Bishop Gilpin primary school earlier this month.
Year six pupils created the cross to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the school. The Archbishop attended a service at St Mary’s Church, Wimbledon, to mark the school’s anniversary.
