Battersea children took a trip to Neverland this week as they joined actors in their very own Peter Pan adventure.

The children gathered at Belleville School to practise their performance of J M Barrie’s well-loved novel, which was shown to parents on Friday.

The event was put on by Perform, a London-based drama school which organises summer activities for youngsters.

Spokesman Christabel Cossins said: “It was a magical day for all them - they really thought they were in Neverland. They absolutely loved it and they all got into character.”
