The Hilton Cobham has helped a school for autistic children open a new skills centre.
Jigsaw School has opened its Life Skills Centre with financial support from staff at the Hills Road hotel.
The new centre will give pupils the opportunity to practise daily living skills, such as cooking and cleaning, which will increase their level of independence.
The centre also has hairdressing and dental facilities, which will be used to desensitise students to what can often be distressing activities for them.
The development of the centre was funded by Hilton in the Community Foundation, the charitable arm of the hotel chain, with money raised by staff fundraising at Hilton hotels around the country.
The charity gave the school a grant of £57,539 to complete the work.
