A nursery has held a family fun day on Hersham Green to raise money for children with respiratory problems at St Peter’s Hospital.
The day included fancy dress and fun races for the children cheered on by their parents.
Lilliput Children’s Centre in Burwood Road has raised £3,261.53 this year toward children with asthma and pneumonia.
The money will pay for equipment, extra hours for respiratory nurses, educational activity and could help create an allergy database.
A spokesman said: “We received a tremendous amount of donations, including nights at hotels, tickets to theatres and children’s events, restaurant vouchers and many more.
"We look forward to exceeding this amount at next year’s fundraiser and family fun day.”
