Weybridge students were on the buses last week, to make a promotional video.
Working with the Weybridge Bus Museum, the Brooklands College pupils were taking part in an enrichment class, which gave pupils the opportunity to acquire new skills and show off the historic buses in their best light.
College tutor Colin Maunder welcomed the idea and said: “This was a fantastic opportunity, a true example of excellent community links that is assisting students in realizing their industry potential and, personally, it revived pleasant memories of iconic vehicles and their journeys.”
Students mastered basic film making skills, taking their first steps into the world of media production.
Pupil Jonathan Smith, 16, from Egham, said: “It has been tough, but we believe that in the end it’ll be worth it.”
