A waterless car wash service, fashion designs and children’s books are among the student businesses on show at a Christmas trade fair at Kingston University on Thursday, December 10.
Kingston residents are invited to the event to see what 140 students taking part in the graduate young enterprise programme achieved when they set up 28 businesses.
The extra-curricular scheme, which is open to undergraduates and postgraduates, gives students experience of setting up, running and closing a real business.
Students will be able to sell their wares to visitors and practise their entrepreneurial skills, while people on the hunt for a Christmas bargain may find an unusual gift.
The fair will take place between 5pm and 7pm in the drama hall on the university’s Kingston Hill campus.
