Young chef Faye Hardy has a magic way with ingredients.
She beat off all opposition both at her own Blenheim High School and two other schools to win through to the regional final of the Future Chef competition.
Faye, 13, will be taking part in a regional cook-off with other young hopefuls in the New Year, when she will show off her skills cooking a two-course meal.
This year more than 700 schools from across the UK took part in the contest, which aims to encourage an interest in food and cooking, and provides teachers and pupils with an insight into what it is like to be a chef.
