Lambeth College has received a AoC Beacon award in recognition for its work getting students with disabilities and learning difficulties into jobs.
It was presented with the RNIB and Mencap Award for Students with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities on Wednesday, February 10.
The college's work in the area included the development of personalised programmes to help students learn workplace skills, setting up real work environments where students could practice and develop employment skills and establishing partnerships with supported employment agencies.
