Children and staff at an Epsom primary school donned jeans to help children in the UK born with a genetic disorder.
The Jeans for Genes event at St. Christopher’s School raised money for an estimated 1 in 25 children in the UK who are affected by genetic disorders.
Two parents with an interest in genetics gave talks to explain what a gene is to the children, who had fun at the day’s activities and learned there are 25,000 genes in the human body.
