A Sutton high school held an entertainment evening celebrating American rock band REM.
On March 28 and 29, pupils at Greenshaw High School hosted Strange Currencies, an evening of drama, poetry, music, photography and dance.
As well as music, the show included an exhibition of art photography by Year 10 students and a selection of poetry written by our Year 10 English students.
The evening finished with a rousing finale of Everybody Hurts.
Interval refreshments were provided and served by the school’s Tanzania Team, students aiming to raise funds for an expedition to Tanzania, East Africa, in 2012.
Headteacher William Smith said: "It was inspiring to see our staff and students working so hard together to produce such an ambitious project.
"Their commitment and enthusiasm shone through in the excellent quality of the production. I received many positive comments from visitors and parents. Congratulations to all involved."
