On Monday it was announced fully vaccinated passengers can travel to the US after the 18-month blanket ban on foreign travellers from entering the country, which was introduced by former president Donald Trump at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he was “delighted” that travel could resume to America.
For many it means long awaited holidays can take place, and for others it means a chance at seeing family for the first time in almost two years.
