The Queen is not dead, despite bizarre claims from a popular US gossip site that were swiftly debunked.

‘London Bridge’ was trending online after Hollywood Unlocked claimed the Queen was dead in an ‘exclusive’ story which sent shockwaves across the internet.

Despite being debunked online the website’s owner Jason Lee has stood by the story.

He tweeted: “We don’t post lies and I always stand by my sources. Waiting for an official statement from the palace.”

With rumours regulalry swirling as concerns over the Queen's health mount amid her recent Covid diagnosis and advancing age the British public can be sure they will be notified by trustwrothy sources.

Plans have been in place for decades outlining how the public are notified and what happens next, known as Operation London Bridge.
