A 23-year-old woman has died after being hit by a train at Barnes Bridge station.
British Transport Police (BTP), the Metropolitan Police and medics from the London Ambulance Service were called to the scene shortly after 5.30pm on Tuesday, April 16.
The woman was taken as a priority to the major trauma centre at St George’s Hospital in Tooting.
A BTP spokesman said: “Sadly, we can confirm that the woman died the following day as a result of her injuries.
“The woman’s family have been informed, and the incident is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
"A file will be prepared for the coroner."
