Sutton United manager Ian Hazel has challenged his players to break new ground by winning two games on the bounce.
After a stuttering start, Hazel's new-look side clicked on Saturday and breezed past Bognor Regis Town 4-0.
It wasn't the first time Sutton had won convincingly this season, but a previous 3-1 victory at home to Weston-Super-Mare proved a false dawn.
"I have to keep reminding people this is just one game," said Hazel.
"It is important we don't get carried away. We have to kick on from here - we need consistency."
Hazel has been working hard trying to get the right mix of players and has made four signings in the past fortnight.
Central midfielder Bashiru Alimi, 24, arrived from Farnborough Town last week and scored on his debut in a 3-1 defeat at Newport County. Paul Honey, Eddie Akuamoah and Alan Reeves were dropped for that match, while Neil Lampton was released.
Three new faces started against Bognor. Craig Tanner, a 20-year-old leftback from Tooting & Mitcham, made an impressive debut.
Tony Quinton, 25, back for his third spell after a brief sojourn at Carshalton Athletic, played in a cultured midfield three, while former St Albans striker Warren McBean, 20, scored and was named man-of-the-match on his debut.
With Matt Gray on the right and McBean charging up the left, Sutton proved a potent attacking force against Bognor.
Defender Jon Scarborough broke the deadlock and McBean added a second, before Charlie Ide signed off his loan spell at the club with a brace in the second half.
"Systems don't win matches, quality does, and it was nice to see so much of it," said Hazel.
"It took us a while to get to grips with the new faces and the new formation but, after a dodgy opening spell, we looked good."
Paul Honey is still doubtful ahead of Saturday's match at Bedford Town after missing the Bognor game following an operation on his wisdom teeth.
