NEC Harlequins may have waited six games to secure their first Guinness Premiership win of the season but, for second row colossus Ollie Kohn, Northampton Saints had it coming.
The Stoop outfit romped past the Midlanders 34-19, earning a bonus point thanks to a 19-point haul from fly-half Adrian Jarvis, a brace for winger Simon Keogh and a try from Andy Gomarsall.
And Kohn, who has been in impressive form in the pack, believes the visitors were on a hiding to nothing.
"We've all known since the start of the season we have had it in us to give someone a real walloping and the timing was right for it to be Northampton," he said.
"We have been building up to it after two wins in Europe and a narrow defeat to Sale.
"There has been continuity in selection and we have slowly gelled in the past few weeks.
"To be able to win in front of your own fans - who were awesome - relieves the pressure.
"But it doesn't stop there, we have to build on it and take it into important games against Newcastle and Worcester."
The 25-year-old former Bristol Shogun has been a massive hit at the Stoop since ending a nightmare spell at the Memorial Ground.
Kohn missed most of his final year in the West country with a cruciate ligament injury, suffered 12 months ago in a Bristol A team game. He feared his career was over, but Quins chief Dean Richards rescued him from the rugby scrapheap.
And, after scoring his first try against Montpellier last week, the 126kg forward believes there is more to come.
"I had a nightmare couple of years at Bristol and always felt I hadn't reached my potential because I couldn't string games together," says Kohn.
"The possibility of not playing again is definitely something that runs through your mind at times like that.
"It happened in the final year of my contract, so everything was very much up in the air.
"Dean approached me towards the end of the season, but I couldn't sign a contract until I proved I was fit enough.
"I always knew I could get back. There is more to come and I can only thank Quins for giving me a great opportunity to turn things round."
The gloss was taken off Saturday's victory following news back row Chris Robshaw could miss the rest of the season after rupturing knee ligaments during an international Sevens competition in Bangkok.
