London Scottish have signed Gloucester Rugby back-row forward Lewis Ludlow on a dual-registered contract until the end of the season.
The former England U18 and U20 international made his debut for Gloucester last year in a friendly against Japan and has been involved in the Premiership outfit's LV=Cup campaign this season.
The 20-year-old could make his debut on Saturday when he is expected to be named in the squad to face Moseley at the Athletic Ground.
Scottish director of rugby Mike Friday said: "We are really pleased that Lewis is joining us for the remainder of the season.
"He is highly regarded having been capped last year by England under-20s and is seen at Gloucester as one of their most exciting young players.
"I am hoping Lewis can play a key role in our remaining league fixtures."
Meanwhile hooker James Stephenson will make his first start for London Scottish on Saturday, having signed on loan from Championship rivals Bristol earlier this month.
