London Scottish new boys Will Carrick Smith and Tyrone Moran will taste life at the Athletic Ground the first time when they make their first appearances for the club in a pre-season friendly clash with Rotherham Titans on August 19.
The pair completed moves from Exeter Chiefs and Leinster, respectively, this week to add strength to the exiles’ forwards.
Carrick-Smith, 23, made 11 appearances in the second row in four seasons at Sandy Park, while Moran, 23, has Pro 12 experience.
And head coach Peter Richards is relishing the thought of their debuts against the Yorkshiremen.
"They are both great signings for the club and are going to offer great competition and depth at hooker and second-row," he said.
"They are physical players and we are looking forward to seeing them get a run out in next week's friendly against Rotherham.
"Will has Premiership experience with Exeter and Tyrone Pro12 experience with Leinster, so it is great to be able to bring in this calibre of player into our squad.”
The new season starts at the Athletic Ground on September 4 with the visit of Moseley.
