Eye opener: London Scottish players launched One’s Walk for Water campaign this week walking from Twickenham stadium to Gaucho restaurant in Richmond.
The3 squad completed the 6km walkwith 25 litre jerry cans filled with water on their heads - replicating the distance walked and average amount of water carried by millions of women and children in some of the world’s poorest countries every day.
London Scottish hope to help One to not only raise awareness of the global water crisis, but also to meet their target of raising £20 million by 2020 to change the lives of over five million people in the world's poorest communities.
Scottish player Robbie Fergusson said: “It’s great to be supporting One Water and we will do all that we can to make a difference for them.
"It has been a big challenge for us players, but we will hopefully raise as much money as we can for a great cause”.
