Brentford boss Dean Smith says it would be a risk for any club to sign either Alan Judge or Scott Hogan this transfer window.
Judge, currently battling back to fitness from a broken leg, was linked with a move to Newcastle United this week amid interest from other clubs.
While Scott Hogan, who has scored eight goals in 14 appearances for the Bees since returning from an 18 month injury break, is also thought to be interesting Hull City and Derby County.
Staying put: Scott Hogan has impressed since his return from injury
The transfer window closes next week with Smith hoping to add two new faces to his squad, but he is confident they will not be to replace Hogan and Judge.
Although the situation may be different come January.
"Alan's injury is well known to everyone. I think there have been enquires about him from a number of clubs," he said.
"With his injury I don't think anyone will take the plunge to take him.
Hopeful: Boss Dean Smith is keen to add to his squad before the transfer window closes
"He is still our player and very much part of our plans.
"I don't think anything will happen this transfer window. He's only had a couple of screws taken our of his leg a couple of weeks ago.
"He wants to get back to full fitness and get back to doing what he did last season."
He added: "Scott is another major player. People were talking about him after only a couple of games this season.
"Before that he'd played five games since being out for 18 months, so that would be another risk for anybody to take on him.
"I'm hoping to bring a couple more in. We're getting very close and there will be a couple more new faces within the squad."
Defender Yoann Barbet is set to return to training next week, while defender Andreas Bjelland is in contention to face Sheffield Wednesday at Griffn Park on Saturday.
The latter received a Scotland U21 call up earlier this week, much to the delight of his boss.
"He's had some darks days and been out injured a long time," said Smith.
"He's got his head down and got on with it. He has done well and been consistent for us."
