Dominic Poleon was the hero of the hour at the Cherry Red Records stadium on Saturday when his last-gasp goal sealed AFC Wimbledon’s first League One win of the season.
The Dons were a goal behind to Chesterfield at the break after Darius Charles’ own goal.
However, his defensive partner Paul Robinson levelled matters on 53 minutes before Poleon came off the bench to steal the points.
Boss Neal Ardley told Dons Player: “We brought on substitutes and they have made a difference.
"It is a squad game. We will take the win, but there is loads to work on.
"We were poor in a lot of things today and we need to analyse the game, train hard and make sure our performance levels are better next week.”
The Dons are at home again this weekend when Sheffield United are the visitors.
