Kicking his heels: Mike Brown is not fit to face Sale Sharks tomorrow night
England full back Mike Brown is scheduled to return to domestic action for Harlequins next week after missing Saturday’s Premiership kick off at the London Double Header.
Brown, replaced by Ross Chisholm, was a late withdrawal from Saturday’s dramatic 21-19 win over league new boys Bristol, having failed to recover sufficiently from a mystery illness.
He will sit out Friday’s trip to Sale Sharks after director of rugby John Kingston initially believed he would be fit to make the trip.
“The AJ Bell is a very tough place to visit, Sale have an excellent record at home and they will be wanting to bounce back from defeat to Newcastle,” he added.
