Brentford head coach Dean Smith has told midfielder Ryan Woods to sort out his disciplinary issues or risk an even longer spell on the sidelines.
Woods will sit out tonight's clash with Reading at Griffin Park after collecting a fifth yellow card in nine games during Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
"Woods got booked, I've no idea what for, but he will be suspended on Tuesday," said Smith at the weekend.
"Five bookings in nine games is something he'll need to learn to curb."
After a first half of little note, the weekend clash sprung to life early in the second half as Wolves established a two goal lead through a Joao Teixeira double.
Sullay Kaikai notched his first goal for the Bees to give the visitors hope, but they couldn't quite complete the comeback, before conceding a third in added time.
Smith pointed to a couple of refereeing decisions that proved costly for his men.
But while he bemoaned conceding some soft goals the Griffin Park head coach was pleased with his team's reaction to going behind.
"We gave them to cheap goals. We didn't have the balance right behind and they broke for the second goal," he added.
"But it should have been our free kick anyway in the build up to it. It certainly wasn't a free kick to them.
"Games change on decisions and that was a poor decision by the referee.
"They had the greater share of possession and territory, but their keeper had to make the first save from Scott Hogan too.
"We then had a chance with John Egan who had a header and then Lasse Vibe had a chance. Then we should have had a penalty for hand ball.
"Our second penalty claim was blatant. The fourth official said he thought the ball hit his head, but it was his arm which was up in the air.
"Our reaction to going two goals down pleased me. We had lots of good chances. But goals change games."
Midfielders Josh McEachran and Lewis MacLeod were both forced off with knocks, but are expected to regain fitness quickly.
Defender Callum Elder remains in a knee brace but is expected to be on the road to recovery soon.
"Josh had a contact injury. His previous metatarsal injury is plated so when he has an injury in that area now he tends to feel a bit of pain," said Smith.
"He's been chomping at the bit to get back in the team. It is shame for him he has had to go off.
"Nico has been struggling with a long term calf problem and we have three games this week. The performances Josh has given when he has come on as a sub show he deserved to start.
"Andreas Bjelland came on at half time against Brighton, played at Villa and 80 minutes against Preston. It's probably took it's toll on a body that has been out so long
"Calum Elder still has his knee in a brace. It feels very good, but we need to get him back to fitness. It won't be too long.
"Tom Field limped off in training but he is not far away.
"Lewis MacLeod limped off, but should be OK."
