Brentford recorded their biggest win in 25 years as they ruthlessly struck seven past Luton Town.
At the heart of victory was Joshua Dasilva who netted his first career hat-trick.
Bryan Mbeumo, Said Benrahama, Ollie Watkins and Mathias Jensen also got on the score sheet for Thomas Frank’s men but it was Dasilva that had his manager and fans purring.
Dasilva’s treble took his tally to six for the season, but despite the development the 21-year-old has shown since breaking into the Bees starting XI, Frank is certain there’s more to come from the former Arsenal youth player.
“It’s a very nice he got this hattrick.” Frank said
“I’m very pleased he got that, I want more hattricks in future, but it’s special as a midfielder.
“I’m happy for him as he’s improved so much.
“We know he can score goals, we knew that when he arrived he had offensive qualities, but he needed to get in to top fitness.
“He’s got that now and that has given him extra time and concentration in final moments.
“I’m pleased with his development, but I want it to continue, it’s only one game with a hat-trick but I want more!”
The win catapulted Brentford up to seventh in the league in the final year they’ll be playing at Griffin Park, and Frank said he’s hoping to leave fans with fond memories before they move.
“We work so hard everyday to do anything we can to improve,” Frank continued.
“Today was the afternoon where we were magical, it was amazing the way we moved the ball around and created chances.
“Today was a good day.”

Dasilva’s manager may have, tongue in cheek, been asking for more from the midfielder but the Brentford faithful were more than happy with his contribution.
WOW. That was amazing. @joshdasilva_ deserves that hattrick, what a player. Norgaard was class. Who wasn’t Tbf?! What a result.

Anyone else still in disbelief in what happened during #BRELUT yesterday? Not quite come to terms with us putting 7 past Luton

A surreal game in which everything went right for Bees and wrong for Luton. Luton setup was niave and gifted space to the danger men who barely broke sweat to find themselves 5-0 up at half time. Special mention for a sensational yet casual Dasilva hat-trick
Fantastic performance again today, truly deserved that hattrick you're proving to be such an important player for us this season 👏🔥🐝
