A WALTHAMSTOW school pupil has won the 100m title at Essex Track and Field Championships.
Frederick Bremer pupil Dante Pollard is a semi-pro sprinter with Newham and Essex Beagles with a personal best of 11.11 seconds in the 100m.
A rising talent who trains three times a week and is soon to complete his GCSEs, he is currently in the top 10 within U17 boys across the country and has enjoyed a spectacular start to the summer season.
His mother Ramona Ashby, who accompanies Dante to all his competitions and is thrilled and about his achievements, says he is hard-working, disciplined and passionate about athletics.
Supporters can donate to a ‘go fund me’ page for Dante to help him with the high costs of reaching a higher ranking. Visit https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-keep-me-on-track to donate.
