Harlequins director of rugby Dean Richards believes the fact seven of his players are involved in international rugby this week is a tribute to his side's sixth place position in the Guinness Premiership.
Number eight Tom Guest, fly-half Adrian Jarvis, right, and scrum-half Danny Care were called up to the England Saxons squad this week, joining team mates Mike Brown and Will Skinner.
Fit-again Nick Easter and Andy Gomarsall are with the senior squad preparing to face Italy on Sunday, and the club's representative ranks could have been swelled further had David Strettle, Chris Robshaw and Jim Evans been fit.
Richards said: "It shows our position of sixth in the table is not a false one.
"It is down to the fact the lads are performing well every week."
