Harlequins' Ireland A prop Mike Ross should count himself unlucky not to be included in Eddie O'Sullivan's senior squad, says his club boss.
The 28-year-old tight head has delivered a series of impressive displays in the Quins front row this season, particularly during their winless Heineken Cup campaign.
Quins director of rugby Dean Richards signed Ross 18 months ago from Cork after impressing during a month-long trial.
And the former England number eight is stunned the Irishman has been overlooked for the Six Nations.
"For someone who has only been a full-time professional for less than two years, he has made huge progress," Richards said. "He has put in some superb performances for us."
