Britain's double European junior cross country champion Steph Twell lifted the junior women's title at the English national cross country championships at Alton Towers on Saturday.
Teenager Twell, a student at St Mary's University in Twickenham dominated the two-lap race to win by almost half a minute in 13 minutes 53 seconds.
Twell has already been pre-selected for next month's IAAF World Championships in Edinburgh.
Fellow St Mary's student Rose Anne Gilligan was 13th (15:06).
Former St Mary's student Faye Fullerton had a good run in the senior women's event, finishing fifth out of 500 runners in 24:50, with current student Jo Ankier 14th (25:21).
Surrey champion Emily Adams was 26th (25:51), county runner-up Justina Heslop of Clapham Chasers 36th (26:32), and Epsom & Ewell's Emily Nelson 38th (26:45).
Herne Hill's Clare Pauzers was 107th (28:46), just ahead of Ranelagh's Marie Synnott-Wells (109th in 28:49).
St Mary's student Ben Lindsay was fourth in the junior men's race (28:20).
Howard of Effingham pupils Emelia Gorecka and brother Josh Gorecki also ran well at Alton Towers.
Emelia, the Surrey schools junior girls' champion, beat a 300-strong field to win the U15 title by 10 seconds in 12:27.
Herne Hill's Katie Snowden was 23rd (13:54), with Hannah Edwards 49th (14:22).
Surrey schools senior boys' champion Josh was 11th out of almost 300 runners in the men's U17 championship in 15:21.
Herne Hill's Lewis Lloyd (12:40) and Sam Woods (12:52) were 52nd and 79th in the boys' U15 race.
