Harlequins have sold more than 6,000 season tickets even though the 2009-10 season is still two months away.

That is a 20 per cent increase on the same time last year, following one of the most successful campaigns in the club’s history.

Chief executive Mark Evans said: “To have achieved such a significant increase in the current economic climate is a tribute to the hard work of the backroom staff over a number of years and the significant investment we have made in our data and online capabilities.

“It is also recognition of the attractive and successful style of rugby played by our young squad last season.

“Everyone at the club is looking forward to the new season with great anticipation.”

Quins will kick off the new season with a clash against London Wasps in the London Double Header at Twickenham on xxxxx.

Early bird prices are available until July 1. For more details call 0871 527 1315 or visit www.quins.co.uk
